My speech at the Lewis County Tea Party on 2/4/16.

I just followed Julie West who spoke about the "Mis-Education" (Common Core).
So I started my remarks with a quote from John D. Rockefeller.

What System Would You Like To Live Under???

THE BILL OF RIGHTS
Amendments 1-10 of the Constitution

Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Amendment II
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Amendment III
No soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.

Amendment IV
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Amendment V
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

Amendment VI
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.

Amendment VII
In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise reexamined in any court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.

Amendment VIII
Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

Amendment IX
The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

Amendment X
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.

Well there is an old Sicilian expression, "he has belly."
Meaning he has guts.

I really admire the amount of guts that this young lady has.

Now I wonder if I can get her on one of the Republican Party debates and ask a question.

That question would be,  

"Gentlemen, I understand we have a lot of problems in these United States today.
Why are your solutions always involving an increase in the size, cost, extending the reach or power of government?????  
We have too much government now."

I wonder if I could get her to ask that at a debate of candidates for the US Senate.
The House of Representatives.
How about a debate by local ladder climbing politicians?????

How about if I could get a good red blooded American like you to say that.
What would happen if that sentence were uttered 1,000 times a day???

It would destroy the agenda that is taking our blessed republic into a dictatorship.

Gun Control And I Choose To Control Mine

This was part of an interview on a radio station in California.
It was between my friend Charlie Smith and a Ms. Schlockmeister.
She was an ACLU lawyer, An advocate of Gun Control, A proponent of disarming civilians, Member of Mensa and other intellectual societies.
Ms Schlockmeister had nothing to say after that line.
I wonder why????

Question 

Why was the Second Amendment put into the Constitution? 

Answer 

So that we could protect ourselves from the government! 

Other measures to protect US from the government were:
1) The Fedgov could have no army in peacetime.
2) Fedgov could not quarter troops in our houses
3) Fedgov could send troops into a state only with the consent of the state government or during an insurrection. 

Question 

Without an army how could the federal government defend the country against invasion and war? 

Answer

By calling out the militia: Each state had an organized militia under the control of the state government (the officers were trained by the federal government). 

Question 

What was to prevent the state government from using the militia against its own citizens? 

Answer 

To regulate that is to control the militia the Founder's said "Arm the entire population" 

That is the Second Amendment. 

In the "Federalist Papers" the founders asserted that the combined militias of the states would be stronger than any force the Federal Government could raise, and by the same reasoning an armed population would be stronger than any militia a State Government could use against its citizens.
The Second Amendment has nothing whatsoever to do with hunting, sportsmanship or target shooting:
The claim that it does has been made by people who want to exclude the ordinary citizens.
(Who are not hunters, sportsmen or target shooters) from the debate.
This allows those promoters to agree to a series of compromises which over time will disarm the people and leave US at the mercy of the government.

I Only Got An A.??????

Back in July I filled out a survey for Gun Owners ofAmerica.

They just published the ratings on their website today.

I only got an A and I’m mighty disappointed.

I got the same grade as my opponent, Marcia Blackthorn (who is a thorn on the tree of liberty.) 

If she gets the same rating as me something is really wrong.

It seems that Gun Owners of America will give an A plus only to someone who will sponsor legislation.

OK.  Well let me tell you what happens when you introduce legislation.

One the opposition who is being paid by the Collectivist Elitist Scum, Eastern Establishment British Internationalist Banking Class can amend your legislation.

And after it’s amended to death it says the  opposite what you wanted to do.

Ask former Idaho Senator Larry Craig what the Gun Grabbers in the Senate did to his pro Second Amendment bill.

What makes Gun Owners think a piece of legislation can make it out of committee?

What makes them think it can make it through a floor vote?

What makes them think it will be taken up by the Senate?

Gee what ever happened to Ron Paul’s “Audit the Fed Bill?”

The Senate wouldn’t hear it.

Oh, even if it passes the Senate, what makes you think that the future PRESENT IDIOT

(President) will sign it.

Now the way to restore the Second Amendment is three fold.

One, not allow one piece of Anti-Second Amendment legislation to get out of subcommittees or committees.

Two, use the power of the budget to eventually eliminate any agency whose job it is to regulate firearms.

Three, (And Larry Pratt of Gun Owners knows about this.)

Have a Congressman (like that little troublemaker from Tennessee (ME)) put a rider on each and every piece of legislation.  That rider would say, “Congress votes to strip the Supreme Court’s appellate jurisdiction on any matter concerning firearms, ammunition, the people’s right to own firearms etc.”

The left is using the state legislatures to pass more gun control laws and the state courts are upholding them.  The next step is for the Normal Pro Gun Crowd to go to the Federal Courts.

If you think we are going to get a fair shake on the Federal level I have a bridge to sell you.

We must stop these cases from going to the Supreme Court or we will have no Second Amendment very soon.

Anyway I still got an A but I feel I deserve better.

My reaction to the upcoming election.










You know in Tennessee you have more signs on "Yes On One" than you have for all the political hacks combined.

Do you know why there aren't any signs for your local Congresscritter????

Because the "Powers To Be" don't want you to know that there is an election for Congress.
They also don't want you to know who your Congressman is.  
This way you can't ask him the following question.

That is:

"Mr. Congressman, I understand we have a lot of problems in these United States.
Why are you always proposing a one size fits all solution to these problems?
Why are you always advocating some sort of an increase in the size, cost, extending the reach or power of government as a solution to these problems.  Don't you realize we have too much government already!"
