Well Carter started the Department of Education.
The Republicans in their 1984 platform
said they would get rid of it.
They didn’t.
Common Core is an offshoot of Outcome Based Education.
In which no outcome is expected.
We need to be teaching, reading, writing and arithmetic.
My solution is to cut off the money for Common Core and
eventually de-fund the entire Department of Education..
Education is better left to the states and local governments.
